I'm Jing Graber, a scientific researcher, photographer, and author/illustrator based in Austin, Texas. Since childhood, I have loved exploring the natural world. My art is my passion through which I hope to portray the beauty of the creatures I am fascinated with. Through my first children's picture book, Can You Sea Me, I hope to share a taste of the sea with my community in the land-locked city of Austin, as well as those beyond.

My ichthyology and toxicology research as an honors student at the University of Texas at Austin is how I work to learn more about the natural world and mitigate the pollutants plaguing the natural world---and us. All the while, I strive to couple my studies with scientific communication through engagement with the young readers in my community and my scientific illustrations.
